End of Year BBQ

The last couple of years, the club has had to cancel it's plans for a Christmas/End of Year Party due to lack of numbers available.

This year, 2019, the committee decided to have a Sunday Barbie instead, encouraging members to take friends & visitors for a fly in the morning, then participate in a BBQ lunch and some socialising after lunch.

Amid the days of drought, fires, heatwave, high winds, dust and smoke that's been the norm this Spring, we cracked a great day with clear skies, light breeze and moderate temperature. Amazing! The wind picked up in the afternoon, and brought the dust in again, but by then the festivities were over.

A few took to the air with John Pullen And Stuart Porges and afterwards about 25 members & guests enjoyed the meal, and it was good to see some new faces among those present.
